How to choose a 3-in-1 wireless charger to sell: a 2026 sourcing guide
Form factor, charging tier, watch module, cooling and packaging decide whether a 3-in-1 station sells — or comes back as a return. Here is how to choose.
A 3-in-1 wireless charger charges a phone, a watch and earbuds from one base. It is one of the best-selling accessories for iPhone owners, which also makes it one of the most crowded. The models that keep selling get five things right: form factor, charging tier, watch module, heat and the unboxing.
1. Choose the form factor for your channel
| Form factor | Best channel | What buyers value |
|---|---|---|
| Foldable travel | Amazon, travel retail | Thin when folded, light, a pouch in the box |
| Upright stand | Retail, home office | Viewing angle, stable base, StandBy mode |
| Cube or rotary base | Gifts, corporate | Looks, lighting, compact footprint |
| Flat three-disc fold | Hotels, travel | Packs flat, no stand to break |
Our foldable Q28-A folds to 26.6 mm for travel; the Q66-A and Q26-D are desk stands with active cooling. The full range of 3-in-1 wireless charging stations covers all four shapes.
2. Decide the charging tier: Qi2 25W or 15W
Qi2 25W (also called Qi2.2) is now the premium tier for recent iPhones and a growing number of Android phones. It costs more because the transmitter is certified and the station needs better cooling. A 15W build in the same housing keeps a lower price point open without a second mould. Our guide to Qi2 vs Qi2.2 explains the difference in detail.
3. Check the watch module
Apple Watch does not charge on Qi. It uses Apple's own magnetic charging standard, so every 3-in-1 station needs a dedicated watch module. Ask what output the module has (ours is 2.5W), whether it works with the watch on its side for Nightstand mode, and whether it fits recent watch sizes with a band attached.
4. Heat decides the real speed
Three coils in one small housing make heat. When the phone gets warm it slows charging, and customers write "slow" in reviews. Fans or semiconductor (TEC) coolers keep the phone cooler and the speed steadier. Measure the phone's surface temperature after 30 minutes on a sample — it is the quickest quality check you can run.
5. Power adapter and cable
- A 25W station charging three devices needs a USB-C PD adapter of 30W or more; say so on the box if the adapter is not included.
- Check the cable length (ours ship with 100 cm USB-C) and that the cable is rated for the input current.
- Decide early whether you include an adapter: it changes the box size, cost and certifications.
6. Certification and listings
Marketplaces and retailers ask for FCC and CE reports, RoHS and, for Qi2 claims, a listing in the WPC database. Read how to verify Qi certification before you approve a supplier, and see our certifications.
7. MOQ, cost and timeline
For an existing model with your logo, expect an MOQ of 500 pcs per colour, samples in 7–10 days and mass production in 25–30 days. The biggest cost drivers are the charging tier, cooling, housing finish and packaging — see OEM process and cost drivers and our OEM / ODM service.
A quick sample checklist
- Charge all three devices at once for an hour; check nothing stops charging.
- Log phone temperature and charge percentage after 30 minutes.
- Shake the stand with a phone attached; check the magnet holds.
- Open the box as a customer would: manual, cable, adapter note, protective film.
